Happy Spring!

Uh-oh. We haven’t updated this page since January. OOPS! Things get busy. And we’re constantly updating our Events page and Facebook as well. This page seems a bit redundant! That said, we do have some news!

We’re coming up on year three soon! Thinking about celebrating the anniversary in May instead this year, since we were super-unofficially open on May 27, 2016 for Abby’s birthday. She’s got a bit one coming up (Ssshhhh, she’ll be 60!) and she wants to throw a big bash! It’ll likely be the same as our previous anniversary parties, with an open bar and catered food and party favors and LOTS of cake and decorations! Don’t miss it!

We finally got our first visit from the DOH and are currently “fighting city hall” or somesuch. Whatever the outcome, there will be fines to pay, but at least we saw the inner workings for ourselves!

What else? Well, there’s always new art to see and new boozes to sample. And soon the beautiful back yard will be open again! (Not that it’s ever closed, but the weather will be more cooperative.) We’re planning on some new lights and effects. We can’t wait!

Well, that’s about it…maybe we’ll be back on this page in, like, August! Hah! Keep an eye on our events, as always! Cheers!

Happy 2019!

Whew! Looks like we skipped posting in December. Gotta say, the holiday season felt like it lasted from Halloween all the way up until yesterday! We’re finally through it all. And hunkering down for the slow days of deep winter. Won’t you come spend some of those days with us? We have hot mulled cider, a delicious assortment of other hot drinks and a warm ambience people adore. Keep an eye on our Events page for upcoming fun stuff. It’s safe to say we should be relatively glitter free till Valentine’s Day, though!

Lucky is incredibly grateful to all our regulars — our Gallery of Weirdos — for our continued success. We LOVE our Lucky family! Here’s hoping that 2019 brings you all the wonderful things your heart desires! Mwah!

Ahhh, Autumn!

How can it be the first week of November? October flew by so fast that it already feels like December. That could be because we live in the future, booking events and anticipating holidays. This is a time we should be able to pause. And breathe. Post elections. Smack dab in between Halloween and Thanksgiving. A quieter time to marvel at the blue skies, the many colors of the autumn leaves, the crispness in the air. If you're out and about enjoying all that fall has to offer, stop by and say hi! Our Happy Hour, noon till 8, offers $4 well drinks and $3 off all draft beers. We’ve brought back the Keurig so you can enjoy a warm drink on a chilly day. And the garden is still open if the sun warms up enough for you to drink al fresco. The last week or so at Lucky has been so warm and convivial, it's felt more like a living room than a bar! Come and see what we mean! Oh! And a quick reminder: Lucky is OPEN on Thanksgiving! Expect our usual hours, noon till 4am, with your humble narrator behind the stick noon till 8 and Zero easing you into your early Friday morning. Cheers!
