It's November!

And, uhhh, how did THAT happen? Time is flying by. There’s a definite chill in the air. And it will be Thanksgiving before we know it! We got through October with not one, not two, but THREE pumpkin carving parties; a festive Halloween season; and plenty of warm conversation with our Gallery of Weirdos. We hope to welcome you in as a new member! Lucky will be open on Thanksgiving Day so if you need an escape from family or you’re looking to join a new one, we provide refuge and companionship. It’s something we offer every day of the year, not just on holidays. We can’t wait to meet you!

Lucky LOVES October! We adore Autumn and since dressing up in costumes is practically our religion, you KNOW we love Halloween! This is pretty much our high holiday season!

We’ve had a bunch of changes at Lucky over the past few months. Marty left us — and NYC — for the upper Michigan peninsula and a mountain duplex B&B. If you’re looking to vacation, check him out at Cabin Fevers UP! And come meet our two NEW bartenders, Alex and Paul! Alex also works at East Village Vintage Collective, one of our favorite hip thrift stores!

We’re still hosting Burning Man Happy Hour every second Wednesday (and sometimes other Wednesdays as well). On the second Tuesday, Lady Zombie is your hostess for our sexy monthly sketching and sipping event, Kink ‘n’ Draw. Think Drink ‘n’ Draw but with a BDSM spin. We welcome the guys from NYC Gay Craft Beer Lovers at least every other month and this month they’re returning for their fourth annual Oktoberfest celebration! The Cooler Winds of September

It seems as though Summer flew by! We really had a blast, with all kinds of fun events. But you know we all love the Fall most of all! The leaves change color, we get to carve pumpkins and put up our Halloween decor, we enjoy sharing Thanksgiving with our regulars and the cooler temperatures make it easier to leave our doors open to the sidewalk.

If you haven’t visited us yet, you can expect a more seasoned vibe and a warm welcome from our staff, provided you have a grasp of how to order, how to tip and how to conduct yourself like an adult. Let that be a warning to all you Yelpers! We are nice when YOU are nice!
