A New York/London Literary Situation

Lower East Side writer Jeffrey Wengrofsky will be launching The Wolfboy of Rego Park, his literary debut, by holding a party with us. He will be joined by two rock ‘n’ roll British authors: Tony O’Neill and Richard Cabut (ex- New Music Express), who will also read from their books.

Jeffrey Wengrofsky, whose family has lived in the Lower East Side for over a century, will be reading from The Wolfboy of Rego Park (Far West Press) a memoir covering his evolution through horror films and comic books, public school, punk rock, and onward.  Wengrofsky is known for his documentary portraits of local artists (like Taylor Mead and Judith Malina) and his Secrets Film Festivals (now in their 11th year). Tony O’Neill, formerly of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, will read from The Savage Life and other works, and Richard Cabut, a contributor to Britain’s New Music Express, will read from Looking For a Kiss (PC Press).

This blessed event is free to get in and free to get out!
