Thanksgiving Eve was once the biggest party night in NYC. Among those "in the know," it was bigger than New Year's Eve because only the true New Yorkers went out to play. Sadly, it seems that it is no longer a big night because no one left in NYC actually LIVES in NYC. Everyone scurries home to their families.
